Vahterus Awarded the World-Class Employer Label

Vahterus has received the World-Class Employer Label in recognition of its work in responsible international recruitment and in building a multilingual, multicultural workplace. It is one of the first companies in Finland to receive this recognition.

International recruitment is a key part of Vahterus’ growth strategy. Over the past three years, the company has hired 300 new employees, and today 24% of its staff are international professionals. Diversity is seen as a strength that brings new perspectives, broadens expertise, and supports innovation.

The recognition shows that Vahterus operates in a structured, transparent, and responsible way throughout the employee journey – from recruitment to onboarding and integration. It also highlights the company’s ability to lead a diverse organization where different languages, cultures, and skills work together effectively.

The Finland Chamber of Commerce, which granted the label, highlighted Vahterus’ ethical recruitment practices, strong onboarding, and long-term support for employee integration. Diversity, equality, and non-discrimination are also built into the company’s strategy, HR policies, and leadership, and are managed in a systematic and measurable way.
