Changes in Management for Vahterus Oy

Dear Partners,

Over the past 35 years, a three-people start-up has grown into a global company of over 600 people. We’ve brought a new type of heat exchanger to the market – our fully welded Plate & Shell Heat exchanger, a sustainable solution to many complex applications. Together, we have succeeded. And what a journey it has been! A humble thank you to all our employees globally.

We’re proud of that journey we’ve taken together. It has only been possible because of you, our valued partners. You’ve kept us busy with your orders, and most importantly, you’ve continually challenged us during these past decades and pushed us to develop new applications and solutions year after year. Long may that continue!

Now it’s time for the next chapter. Last year I was appointed as a Member of the Finnish Parliament and it’s time for a generational shift at Vahterus. My daughter Hanna Kontu has been appointed Chair of the Board and my son Matti Kontu the new CEO for Vahterus Oy.

I wish the whole Vahterus team good luck and continued strong collaboration with you.
