Prime Minister Rinne at Vahterus

Prime Minister Antti Rinne visited Vahterus as a part of the Peace Symposium organised in Uusikaupunki on 9 August 2019.

During his visit, Rinne was shown the production of heat exchangers as well as Vahterus’ operations by the company’s founder and CEO Mauri Kontu. They discussed the significance of education in solving the employment mismatch and applauded the decision to expand the Master of Science in Engineering programme to Turku.

Other participants included Member of Parliament Eeva-Johanna Eloranta, Mayor of Uusikaupunki Atso Vainio, and Chairman of the City Council Jaana Reijonsaari-Korsman.
