3. Cascade

Cascade Condenser is a condenser with refrigerant evaporating on the other side.

Cascade system is used especially at lower evaporation temperatures like freezing of meat, fish, ice-cream and in snow/ice – build ups.

Typical system works with NH3 and CO2. NH3 is used as a refrigerant and CO2 as brine.

As it is no temperature difference in evaporator side, its ideal for ice rinks

The compact design enables easy integration into packages and provides additional benefits such as savings on insulation and associated piping.

5. Storage

It is possible to store liquid in the combined unit.

7. Integrated droplet separator

The droplet separation system is integrated with a flooded evaporator, making it a particularly efficient and compact system.

8. Customizable connections

As the rest of the unit, all connections can be customized according to customer requirements.

9. Plate pack construction

The basic heat exchanger is assembled from a plate pack made of stainless steelplates and a shell made of carbon steel or stainless steel.
