R&D News: Strong Start for the Rookie

The size 12 Vahterus Plate & Shell Heat Exchanger started 2020 even better than we expected. The first unit will be delivered during the initial quarter of 2020 and there are more in the order book waiting for manufacturing and delivery.

Size 12 was launched for sales during 2019, and manufacturing tools were finalised at the end of last year. The new plate pack production tools are now in full use. This new Size 12 fills the gap between existing sizes 9 and 14. Its greatest advances are wide material availability and excellent heat transfer.
